Always ny favourite place to Sin on a Sunday in Seddon.

I hadn’t been here for some years but my friend and I thought it was about we did. It’s a great cafe with an intimate feel with friendly and warm service. We opted for the good from the socials menu being the pork belly and the crumbed halloumi, both delicious. Since it was a Sunday afternoon and a sunny day, we ended brunch with a cheeky cocktail and why not! 😊

I’m giving 5 stars because I don’t believe in harming a businesses reputation through negative reviews. But I will say this… the owner of the cafe blamed me for my chai latte not steeping/brewing properly and not being hot enough… this was really unprofessional and awkward.

A chai arrived at my table while I was outside for about a minute… so technically if there was any brewing that needed to be done… it would have been done… however the chai was not only bland and tasted just like milk, It was lukewarm… which means there’s no brewing going on in that lukewarm milk… I don’t like complaining at all but I thought I’d politely and quietly tell the lovely girl who was serving us, that unfortunately the chai was basically just bland lukewarm milk and I don’t want to be annoying but just thought of it as some feedback, wasn’t necessarily asking for a new chai. However, the owner overheard and came up to me and explained that its tea leaves and the reason it was bland was because I am supposed to let it brew and I didn’t… whilst not even mentioning the fact that the milk was not hot at all… and then picked up the chai and said he’ll make me another one regardless and walked off…. Pretty poor form to blame the customer for the chai being cold and un-brewed. I immediately wanted to leave but I was with the family so I was a good sport about it.

Congratulations to Chris and all the team at Seddon Deadly Sins. On a freezing Sunday 16th February, (Summer in Melbourne, go figure) our group of nine were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Attentive and professional staff added immensely to a very pleasurable experience. The All-Day Breakfast listed dishes GALORE, catering to all our tastes. We were so taken we will all return in April. Thanks again. Bill

Really yummy eggs Florentine washed down with an ENVY cocktail, cloudy apple juice and latte. That's what I call a moreish brunch!! 😋 Great place to gather for a chat and some delicious food. Love the menu presemted in the little golden books, very cute indeed. Good selection on menu and for drinks, including cocktails. This could easily be my new go to place. Faultless and kinda groovy.

Had a great coffee . The inside area is cosy and well air conditioned. The backyard is nicely shaded. The eggs Benedict was ok - the roast was crunchy and the sauce good but it was a bit basic.

The food was lovely, and staff were amazing. Good coffee and an overall amazing place. Loved the menus!!

Came for the Bloody Mary, stayed for the Spanish eggs, they were so good! But I’d skip the Bloody Mary next time, it was missing something, was more bloody than Mary, needs some spice and seasoning. But the eggs! Unreal. Staff could use some cheering up. Part of working in hospitality is being hospitable so maybe ask them to smile? Hate to be that person but it’s not hard.

Had our pre valentines breakfast here and the place is such a vibe! Cute seating area in and outside with a little courtyard, attentive staff and good food especially the sweet potato latkes.

Seddon Deadly Sins is a great suburban cafe offering a great menu in a relaxed atmosphere.

Favourite cafe in the west, from their delicious (and clever) menu items to the laid-back and friendly vibes. Dog-friendly too, a big plus. The brioche bacon egg jalapeno burger is to die for (it has hash browns inside - genius?!), as are the banana pancakes - a generous serving so not for the faint of heart. So many seating options to fit your mood and the weather, very Melbourne-appropriate.

Wholesome cafe — friendly service, good coffee and great food! They have seating inside as well as a cute little outdoor area. Very friendly owner that seems to put his heart into the business. Highly recommend the breakfast burger with the jalapeño cream cheese.

I eat here once or twice a year as a local, always at a friend’s request. The food is ordinary. It’s nothing I couldn’t make at home
I went today and had the vegan burrito bowl. It was rice (cold), beetroot puree, corn, black beans, carrot, avocado and corn chips. It was very disappointing. I don’t think anything was seasoned. It was plain. No finesse. There were approximately 6 corn chips.
Service and atmosphere are nice.

Can’t beat the staff for service. They were super friendly. They asked a few times if everything was ok without overdoing it. But the pancakes were the worst I’ve ever had. They were so stodgy. The maple syrup bottle that was put on our table was sticky and the cap was pretty grotty.

Every time I come to visit relatives in Melbourne, I have to pay a visit here to satisfy my Canadian Pancakes craving. The pancakes are fluffy, the bacon is quality and always crispy, and finished off with some warm maple glazed pecans and a solid scoop of ice cream that doesn't melt straight away. The coffee is strong and hits the spot. The quality has been excellent ever since I ordered this years ago.

The service from all staff has always been warm and friendly even when they are at capacity, a reflection of good management.

Delicious food, massive portions, great value for money. Service from the girl with the jet black hair and the gent with the beard was incredible. Will definitely be back. Great experience from start to finish!

The service here is immaculate, the owner is super nice. The food is amazing, as is the coffee and other beverages.
Highly recommend beats most if not all cafes in the inner west.

Had breakfast here. Friendly service, dog friendly and cool vibe. Water served from Absolut vodka bottles and menu concealed within Little Golden Books. Would recommend.

I have been coming here many times, and this place never disappoints with the food. We ordered honey lamb sausages with halloumi, sweet potato hash (not the typical hash) and fresh spinach. It was delicious and flavoursome. The portion is perfect, and the price is reasonable.

This cafe has a great atmosphere, especially with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

The staff are friendly and helpful. This eatery has plenty of seating, is spacious, kid-friendly, clean and great with the locals.

It has 2 hour Street parking on the main road so it's plenty to find parking.

I absolutely love this place. The menus are Little Golden Book covers with their menu inside. We all chose (5 of us) different breakfast items and they all came out at once. Coffee 8/10. Huge serves and we tried our best to finish as it was delicious. Busy place and obviously well loved by locals. Would definitely return and recommend.

In a small town of Seddon at Victoria Street, you find many nice cafe and restaurants.
I stopped by one which has a catchy name, Seddon Deadly Sins Cafe. The front section of this café is quite small but charming, tables were creativity sketched. Walk thru to the back section, you'll be greeted with a charming courtyard. The menu was recycled old Little Golden Books, innovative and very nostalgic. And not forgetting the great service from the staffs here

We ordered Wrath (Spanish eggs), Eggs bene and blueberry pancakes - all were delish 🤤🤤 Not the first time we've been here, very satisfied as always!

Absolutely delicious food and great service really chilled out atmosphere. One of my favorite places to eat. Love the golden book menus too, especially as I collect them. 😍. Highly recommend.

One of the best of cafes in Melbourne. Delicious food and coffee with warm and engaging service from staff in the alfresco dining at the rear made for enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Coffee was great. The meals were good, and they were accomodating in terms of veg options. Good atmosphere and loved the decor. Staff were lovely! Would come back here.
